Welcome Sunday School Family!

What a wonderful first Sunday in Advent!  We had fun learning about the Jesse tree and sharing some of the Bible stories which are all part of the history leading up to Jesus' birth  (you all had some great questions during class time!).  It will be exciting to see our tree unfold as more ornaments are added in the weeks' ahead.  We hope you can share these stories at home during the week using the devotional handout.  If you need another copy, we will have some on the table in the church narthex.

This coming Sunday we will continue with our ornament building and storytelling as we create more ornaments for our Jesse tree.  Each week through Advent, after the worship service we'll meet for just a few minutes to add the week's ornaments to the tree. This Sunday is also a Communion Sunday so we will join with the congregation to share the sacrament of Communion together.

And coming up ... on December 21 during children's message at the 9:00 AM service we will create the nativity scene on that first Christmas as the birth story is read from Luke.  Hope you can all join us we re-tell the most wonderful story of the Birth of our Savior!
